1/9/7: Airplay - This morning "brink" was featured on the PBS show "Across the tracks" with John Carver. John played three tracks from the album (Many, Whispers and I Know), and described it as "brilliant", saying:

"[The music is] sometimes jazz fusion, sometimes fusion rock... sometimes ethereal, sometimes very much in your face. I love the album."

24/8/7: Melbourne launch - Tonight was the first and penultimate show in the album launch tour. It was a great show, with guest drummer Andy Keegan. Thanks to The Portraits for their support set.

23/8/7: Radio interview - Via phone from Melbourne, Melissa was the guest of Maggie Collins and Adam Rothwell of 4ZZZ in Brisbane.

22/8/7: Triple J Airplay - Angel Songs has moved from "Morning" to "Lunch" - thanks Linda for giving it a spin!

22/8/7: Radio interview - Melissa lugged her keyboard into Skid Row studios to do a live interview and live solo performance of "Someone new". Halfway through the interview she and interviewer Justine Wahlin realised they'd met before! - Justine had seen Melissa playing violin with Dominique Fraissard at a chilled little gig on Dom's balcony last November.

21/8/7: Press - There's a feature article on Melissa in this week's Drum Media (page 74). There'll also be an article in tomorrow's InPress (for Melbourne readers), and a CD review in mX coming out on Thursday this week (23rd August).

20/8/7: Radio interview - This morning Melissa had a lovely chat with Ian Batty from Highlands FM in Victoria.

17/8/7: Radio interview - This afternoon Melissa was the guest of Mel Somerville on 2RDJ's programme "Mel's Music".

16/8/7: Triple J Airplay - Zan Rowe and Carolyn Tran have played Angel Songs several more times, Zan describing it as "one of her favourites right now".

6/8/7: Airplay - Brink has been added to the tipsheet for Melbourne station PBS.

19/7/7: More Triple J airplay! - This time on on Caz Tran's Home and Hosed show.

17/7/7: Triple J airplay! - This morning Zan Rowe played Angel Songs on her morning show, describing it as:

12/7/7: Melbourne launch - Today we confirmed there will be a Melbourne launch at 303 (303 High St, Northcote) on Friday 24th August.

5/7/7: Airplay - "Angel songs", the single from "brink", was put on high rotation on cable channel Air.

5/7/7: Sydney album launch - Tickets for the Sydney launch, at The Vanguard, went on sale today. Visit www.thevanguard.com.au for more details.

1/2/7: Airplay - Brink has started receiving airplay in Queensland. Beaudesert Radio (101.5FM) is playing "Many", "Belligerence (The Fish Song)" and "I Know". Here's what station manager John Robinson had to say:

I reviewed your CD last week. I loved it and have picked 1, 6 and 7 for airplay in my new Oz music show. ... Most times when I review I only select 1 song from each cd. Good luck with the forthcoming release.
